Those Cute Moffatts Are Working On A New Record

No word on what the sound is going to be like or who the producer might be, but those talented Moffatts, Scott, Clint, Bob and Dave have hunkered down and started writing their follow-up to the critically acclaimed Submodalities. This news comes to us via the website of their management company, SL Feldman And Associates.

TheyÕve always said theyÕd go back to working with big rocker Bob Rock (Metallica/Bryan Adams) on their next album, but we all know teenagers change their minds, like, a million times before deciding on going with something. For those of us that consider Submodalities their emergence into a new rock-pop sound, the follow-up is highly anticipated.

Stylish guitarist Scott Moffatt revealed in the November issue of Chart that, "WeÕre in limbo right now with our music. WeÕre still trying to establish our own sound, but we donÕt know what our sound is yet. ItÕs sort of a struggle, weÕre a new band, kind of, but weÕve been around for a long time. We still havenÕt developed a sound people can identify with."

The Moffatts anticipated back in November that they wanted to perform in front of large slightly older audiences in an EdgeFest setting, like they do at European festivals. However, theyÕre not part of the EdgeFests bills. Not touring this summer has given them the time to start work on their next album.
